Projected clocks at FloraHolland Bleiswijk

FLORAHOLLAND (4 October 2010) - In October, the clocks system of FloraHolland Bleiswijk will be modernized. Projected clocks and an up-to-date communication network will replace the existing old system for the clocks and tribune. In case of the auction in Bleiswijk, this step does not involve virtual auctioning; the flowers will continue to be physically present in front of the clocks. The modern equipment however will enable to provide more and better information of the products.
The changes were fully coordinated with and supported by the ‘Trade Committee’in Bleiswijk consisting of representatives of VBW, the Florist Shoppers Association.

With these modern auctioning technologies, FloraHolland Bleiswijk is ready for the future.
