FLORAHOLLAND (18 October 2010) - From October 1st on a new MPS qualification code will been shown at the auction clocks of FloraHolland. Besides the existing codes A, B and C for the environmental qualifications and the F for FFP (Fair Flowers Fair Plants label) the new code MPS-T will be introduced. MPS-T stands for “Temporarily FFP”, it makes it possible to trace products marked as “Temporarily FFP” and to show it during auctioning.
For the qualification FFP-label, growers should have the MPS-A and MPS-Social Qualified or a similar international certification. Growers with “Temporarily FFP” only have one certificate and are trying to get the second one.
The introduction of the MPS-T certification was October 1st.
