FLORAHOLLAND (13 December 2010) - More than 600 members attended FloraHolland's General Members' Meeting on the evening of Thursday 9 December. A majority of 76% of the voting members agreed with the proposed contributions, provisions and levies for 2011.
The Chairman of the Cooperative, Bernard Oosterom, promised to hold a consultation soon with a number of members to discuss the opposition and criticisms which came to light during the meeting. At the end of the meeting, Arnold Hordijk, who is stepping down as commercial director, received a standing ovation.
