Industrial actions by unions at FloraHolland postponed
Members to be consulted on improved collective labor agreement offer
FLORAHOLLAND (23 april 2010) - Just before the ultimatum ran out at midnight on Thursday, 22 April 2010 the unions have deferred the announced strike actions after conferring with the executive members. The unions have decided to put Flora Holland's solid end offer to their members.
"FloraHolland is pleased that the industrial action has been prevented thanks to the unions and executive members taking their responsibility. This will prevent suppliers, customers and transporters from experiencing any inconvenience. It's the right thing to do considering the economic poor and uncertain times the floriculture industry has been experiencing," says Timo Huges, General Manager of FloraHolland
