The Rijnsburg center is an export center for cut flowers, focused mainly on medium-sized traders who supply the foreign retail trade. Some of the buyers focus on selling to exporters based at other auctions. The assortment of cut flowers is wide and deep, the mainstays being roses, bulb flowers and summer flowers. Buyers build at the Florapark industrial estate. The Rijnsburg center has seven clocks in one auction room. The unusually short delivery times and modern logistical distribution are particularly notable. The building contains retail points which handle the cash & carry function.
