Your business relationship

As a contract supplier, you will sign a supply contract with FloraHolland. This will contain agreements concerning the flowers and plants you plan to sell through FloraHolland. These may include:

· the composition of the product assortment;
· the number of products you plan to offer annually through FloraHolland;
· the percentage of production passing through FloraHolland;
· the proportion of your use of the auction clock or intermediary services;
· the quality;
· the regularity of your offerings.

The contribution for contract suppliers totals  € 500 + 0.5% over the first € 250,000.

As a contract supplier, you only have auction rights for the products agreed upon in the contract. In the event of higher production, therefore, you are not guaranteed sale through FloraHolland. Additionally, you have no vote in the cooperative body and do not enjoy profit-sharing.

You may become a contract supplier if you are a member of another auction, but still wish to sell part of your production through FloraHolland, or if you do not belong to an auction, cannot or do not wish to join. FloraHolland distinguishes among the following categories of contract suppliers:

This classification is based on the scope, appeal of your products for our assortment, and the reliability of your supply. The fees you pay depend on the category into which you fall.

Categories
There are five categories of contract supply;
· CA, CB and CC: for Dutch and foreign suppliers.
Contract supplier A, B or C: depending on the percentage of production sold through FloraHolland, and depending on the appeal of their assortment and their company’s overall reliability.
· CG: for guest suppliers, meaning members of other auctions.
· KA: for foreign suppliers selling 100% of their production through FloraHolland.

Since 1-1-2006 existing KA suppliers may choose to become members. There will be no more KA suppliers joining this category.
